A story about courtney
The most memorable (and perhaps one of the most recent) times I’ve seen Courtney she always made me smile.
Even in hard times, she’s a bright star. One of my fondest memories of her was when I had just landed in Atlanta after arriving from New Orleans. She said she would meet me for coffee in the airport. The place was full of military and it seemed like another world. Sure enough, spending time with Courtney was like a dream. She and I had a nice long conversation before my connecting flight back to San Francisco. Imagine the kind person that you can have coffee with and through their grace, you’ll forget about streets full of dead bodies and your government failing an entire region.
That takes a special kind of person, and that’s the kind of person Courtney is.
Oh and she likes gold flakes on her sushi. Cute.
